About Jeff Vailette
Jeff Vailette, aka "Mr. Branford," was born and raised in the town he loves and has served for over 30 years. A 1978 graduate of Notre Dame High School in West Haven, Jeff received his BS in Economics and a Minor in Computer Science in 1982 from Quinnipiac College. In 1986, Jeff was awarded his MBA from the University of New Haven. Jeff is proud to be one of the first six paramedics in Branford in 1989, when the ambulance service was upgraded to advanced life support. Appointed to the Board of Finance by former First Selectman, Unk DaRos, Jeff is the second longest serving member of the Town's fiscal board.
Jeff's commitment to Branford is not just governmental. He has worked alongside some of Branford's most dedicated residents as a member of the Branford Rotary Club since 1993, the Branford Italian-American Club since 1978, and been an active member and leader of the Branford Festival for 35 years. Jeff and his wife Terri have three children, Jeff, Melissa, and Andrew, as well as five beautiful grandchildren.

About Victoria Verderame
​Victoria Verderame is a graduate of Branford High School Class of 2008 and a life-long Branford resident. Victoria has been a member of the RTM since 2021and the Republican RTM Leader since 2023. She graduated from Albertus Magnus College in 2012 with a Bachelor's in Communications and received her MS in Interactive Communications from Quinnipiac University in 2014.
Victoria turned her education into a successful career as a communications professional, with a decade of experience spanning the corporate, government, higher education, and nonprofit sectors. When she's not helping build a better Branford, Victoria is likely to be found cavorting with her four-legged pal, Maverick.
About Ed Prete
Ed enjoyed a 40 year career in the Information Technology industry prior to his retirement. He served 5 consecutive terms on the Branford RTM, where he was appointed Chair of the Education Committee. Before that he served as an ex-officio member of the James Blackstone Memorial Library Board.
Ed has coached and mentored local youth as a coach in the Branford Little League. Married to his wife, Jill, for 51 years, the Pretes raised their two children, Joseph and Tracy, in Branford, and are blessed with four grandchildren.
